On June 11th, Coy's Comics in Saginaw hosted the first Sketch Event for the MCC. This event ran from 2pm until closing time and included a podcast by Snake Oil Comics. Several attendees were kind enough to share their stories and pictures of the event with me, you can read these eyewitness accounts and view some fabulous artwork by following the links below. By all accounts, everyone who attended had a great time.
On June 18th Collector's Corner in Midland will be hosting the second Sketch Event for the MCC. This event is also scheduled to start at 2pm and run to closing time. This event will feature some of the artists from the first event but there will also be some brand new artists! Snake Oil Comics is also scheduled to make an appearance to record a podcast including interviews with our artists.
